is mostly a conventional html website. It serves as a information center for
the event. Much of the content is rather constant from year to year.
However, there are two areas which are key to the event which will update
automatically -
- The registration area serves as a dynamic registration system which
transfers directly into the timing and scoring system. This allow us to
keep pre-registration open until just a few hours before the event. If we
had internet access at race headquarter, we could in fact have kept
registration open until race time. However, we do not.
- The dynamic area of this website is the front page. Much of the data
is drawn from databases. This allows for a exciting update of
pre-registration data every time you check the website up until race day.
Even between races, the front page will have current dates on the
Advertisement, Discussion and Guest Book sections which makes a quick
check page.
